Site Selection

Critical

  • Line of sight to southern horizon

  • Flat and stable terrain

  • Access to AC power

Additional considerations

  • Environmental – weather conditions, wind and temperature.

  • RF interference

  • Physical security

  • Proximity to operations

Assembly

Assembly prep

  • Remove Case 1 pedestal cover

  • Aim target arrow on pedestal base towards southern horizon.

  • Open Case 2

Assemble pedestal base

  • Attach (2) leveling feet from Case 2, one on each side, using the 2 large thumb screws.
